A comprehensive tool for calculating your Zakat obligation
How to Use This Zakat Calculator
This Zakat calculator is designed to help you determine your Zakat obligation accurately and easily. To use the calculator, begin by selecting your preferred currency and language from the options at the top of the page. Next, input the current market price of silver per gram in the “Nisab Calculation” section, as the calculator uses the silver standard (612.36 grams) to determine the Nisab threshold.
In the “Assets” section, enter the total values of all your zakatable assets, including cash, bank balances, gold, silver, investments, business inventory, accounts receivable, rental income, savings, and any other liquid assets. Be sure to use current market values for precious metals and investments. Then, move to the “Liabilities” section to input any outstanding debts or obligations that are due within the current lunar year, such as credit card bills, medical bills, utility bills, rent due, business liabilities, loan EMIs, accounts payable, taxes due, and outstanding salaries.
After entering all your financial information, The calculator will automatically determine your net zakatable wealth, compare it to the Nisab threshold, and calculate your Zakat obligation at 2.5% if applicable. You can then use the export options to save, print, or email your Zakat calculation for record-keeping or consultation with Islamic scholars.
